Our Services
Group Classes
Group classes can include a combination of Reformer, Mat, Chair, Arcs and various props. Our instructors are highly trained in the Pilates method giving them the knowledge and skill set to provide alignment guidance and any needed modifications to assist our clients throughout a class. Classes provide a community experience while being small enough to include individual attention.
This class is appropriate for those who have completed the initials. This level is not quite as rigorous as our Intermediate level, but is still a challenging repertoire and pace. Expect a little more time for transitions, fundamental movement patterns, and more time for modifications and movement breakdowns as needed.
Flow All Levels
This class moves at a more demanding level and introduces skilled movement patterns. Detailed focus will be given to incorporating embodiment of the Pilates principles in practice, with the goal of progressing proficiency of skills/concepts.
Intermediate
This class is appropriate for those with a strong Pilates foundation and experience. This level adds more complexity of movement patterns, often including more full body integration. Expect quicker transitions, consistent pace, comprehensive mind-body connections, challenging variations and introduction to some advanced exercises.
Intermediate/Advanced
Men are welcome in all of our classes, after all Pilates was invented by a man (Thanks Joe)! We do, however, understand that some men may feel more comfortable and may enjoy attending a men’s only class. Expect this class level to be similar to an All Levels class and accommodating to different bodies, with a focus on community support. This is a great starting place for any men who are interested in trying Pilates.
Men’s Class
Private Sessions
These are two private sessions that begin with a postural/movement assessment and discussion on any physical areas of interest/concern. The sessions will include Pilates principles, fundamental movements, and apparatus introduction. This provides a wonderful opportunity for the client to be introduced to the Pilates practice, to ask questions, and to discuss goals for their own Pilates practice. Upon completion of these two sessions, the teacher will suggest a recommended path, in combination with the client’s goals, for moving forward either by continuing with private/semi-private sessions or by joining classes.
Two Initials (New Clients Only)
For clients who prefer or require one on one guidance. Private sessions give individual attention to detail and Pilates mastery, use of the full suite of Pilates apparatus, and a personalized program geared toward meeting goals and ideal movement patterns.
Privates
Allowing for more individual guidance and a more personalized session than group classes, Semi-Privates are for two or more clients who want to reserve a time slot that is available only to your group. Groups are established by the clients.
