New Clients

If you are new to Pilates, please contact us at 216-221-9998, so that we may find out more about you and your personal Pilates goals. We typically meet with each new client for at least one private session or for the two Initial Sessions. This helps us to familiarize ourselves with any needed modifications for your body. From here, we’ll together decide the best path for moving forward, either by joining group classes or by continuing with private sessions.

  • Pilates is a mind-body exercise that provides daily conditioning, promotes whole body health and develops mental awareness to optimize your personal performance. Created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, Pilates is a practice that can assist people in finding optimal muscle balance and control, spinal alignment and mobility, ideal breathing patterns, intelligent movement, and proper body mechanics. Joe Pilates said “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. Our interpretation of physical fitness is the attainment and maintenance of a uniformly developed body with a sound mind fully capable of naturally, easily, and satisfactorily performing our many and varied daily tasks with spontaneous zest and pleasure.” At White Cloud Pilates West, Pilates is designed to help you reach your goals and equip you with the proper tools for completing life’s activities in their most functional patterns.  

  • Parking is available in the large lot behind the building (same as Georgetown parking). There is also street parking. Visit our location page for more info.

    Please arrive about 5 minutes before your scheduled session to get settled and to complete any paperwork.

  • We will have you complete a new client waiver prior to your first class. This will be sent electronically or given to you at the studio. You will be asked to include any injuries, surgeries, chronic pain or things we should know about pertaining to your ability to take class. Your teacher will follow up with you on this information.

    We provide hands on assistance and alignment guidance. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let us know.

  • Bare feet are best, but socks may be worn.

    Women – yoga pants/leggings and a fitted top. The more fitted clothing the better for seeing body alignment.

    Men – sweat pants or shorts with compression shorts underneath and t-shirt or athletic top. The more fitted clothing the better for seeing body alignment.


  • White Cloud Pilates West has an amazing roster of instructors who really understand and support my Pilates practice. After 8 years of classes, I am convinced that, at age 68, I am a stronger and healthier person. Leslie, Grace, and Mikaela offer challenging yet adaptive classes.   • I have been going to White Cloud Pilates West once or twice a week for 7-8 yrs and have had an incredible experience there. Initially, Pilates was a complementary exercise activity to yoga and my usual aerobic routine, however after I developed some chronic back issues, Pilates has been my “go to” exercise regimen that has restored me back to where I was years ago. I have taken classes with Leslie, Mikaela and Grace and recommend them highly as instructors. They are incredibly knowledgeable and unlike many places, work hands on with each client to provide truly individualized treatment and exercise routines. They helped me through knee replacements post rehab, and also worked with me after a major surgery, giving me modifications that were best for me. Even now, after full recovery, they check in, always offering adjustments and modifications. Each class is small, allowing for individual attention, and the instructors get to know each of us personally. It's a warm, inviting space. I can't recommend the studio enough!
